Our Huckleberry BBQ Sauce is slightly sweet, with a touch of mesquite smoke and a a taste of real Montana Huckleberries. It is the perfect complement to pork ribs and chicken barbecue.
There are many methods of tenderizing pork ribs. Traditionally slow cooking over smoke and indirect heat will give them the tender, smoky flavor barbecue enthusiasts crave. For those who do not have the time or own a smoker, other methods will yield great results. The key is a great sauce to finish off your ribs.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Roasting ribs in the oven covered with foil on low heat or boiling ribs are popular methods. It also allows some of the fat to be removed during the tenderizing process.
- Drain ribs and place on your BBQ and heat through. Then using a brush, glaze on our Huckleberry BBQ Sauce. Turn and Glaze both sides till completely coated.
- Chicken breast or cut pieces of chicken can be cooked on the BBQ till just cooked and then glaze our Huckleberry BBQ Sauce on all sides. Pour a little sauce on your plate and dip for that extra huckleberry flavor.
- A bottle of sauce should be plenty to glaze approximately 5-8 pounds of meat. Enjoy! :)
Other Ideas for our Huckleberry Sauce would be to:
- Glaze a Ham, use as a Dipping sauce for Chicken Tenders and enjoy on a Huckleberry Chicken Sandwiches.
